LACHLAN BASSETT
General Manager
Lachlan comes from a farming background and this combined with a passion for aquatic life and food production lead him into Aquaculture. He completed a bachelor degree in Marine Science (Aquaculture) before working in Aquaculture Research with NSW Fisheries. He has experience in both marine and freshwater finfish species including broodstock spawning and conditioning, live feed (Rotifers, Artemia, Copepods) production, larval rearing and nursery/grow out systems.
As General Manager, Lachlan oversees all areas of Fresh By Design including Sales and Projects divisions, Accounts, Marketing, Logistics and New Business Development. Lachlan is focused on supporting FBD’s customers with high quality products and services across the Australian and New Zealand markets.
