The success of many marine fish species culture often requires the concurrent supply of multiple live feed such as algae and microcrustaceans. Copepods is among the most difficult live feeds to culture but is a crucial initial live feed for some marine fish larvae due to the fish small mouth.
MAT Copepods Culture System has been designed to provide an adequate controlled culture environment to optimise copepods culture success and ease of maintenance.
MAT Copepod LFP Skid includes one vessel of 420L and the sump of 450L. This system has two valves with camlock, one is used for livestock collection and drainage and is located on the sump, and the other is used to transfer from the vessel to the sump.
