Q: How do I choose the right size?

Match the ID to the barb on your ozone generator, injector or diffuser — 6.4 mm for the 1/4in and 9.5 mm for the 3/8in — then check the outside diameter clears your clamp or fitting.

Q: Is it sold per metre or per roll?

Both — 1 m cut lengths for short generator-to-injector runs, or 15 m rolls for a full installation.

Q: Is it suitable for ozone?

Yes — that is what it is made for. It resists the cracking, brittleness and degradation that destroy ordinary PVC and silicone tubing in ozone service.

Q: Can I use it for pure oxygen instead?

No oxygen service rating is published for this tubing. Use Mako Red Multipurpose Oxygen Hose for oxygen delivery, and talk to us before mixing gas duties on one line.

Q: Can I just use clear PVC tubing on my ozone line?

No. Ozone destroys ordinary PVC and silicone, and a failed ozone line is both a leak and a safety issue. Use ozone-rated tubing throughout.

Q: Is it food-grade or potable rated?

No food-grade or potable rating is published. The copy states only that the tubing is non-toxic and safe in systems containing aquatic life.

Q: Will it survive outdoors in the sun?

It is built to hold its integrity under continuous use and fluctuating conditions, but no UV or temperature rating is published — shade long exposed runs and ask us before an outdoor install.
