Work to a duty point: add up the air your diffusers need, work out the pressure they need it at, then pick the model whose air flow at that pressure covers the demand with a little in reserve.

Take the water depth over the diffuser as head — roughly 10 kPa (100 mbar) per metre — then add pipework friction and the diffuser’s own back pressure, which together commonly add another 5 to 15 kPa.

At 4 kW the High Flow gives 408 m³/h to a maximum 40 kPa while the High Pressure gives 282 m³/h to a maximum 50 kPa, so choose High Pressure for deeper tanks and High Flow for shallow, high-volume aeration.

The G-15 range is three phase, with the 7.5 kW models on 380 V, so a single-phase site will need a supply upgrade or a different blower family.

Yes — an inlet air filter keeps dust and insects out of the impeller and a pressure relief valve protects the machine if a line blocks or a valve is shut; both are available from Fresh By Design.

The G-15 models sit between 71 and 74 dB(A) and run cooler than an equivalent side channel blower, but still site them in a ventilated space and keep discharge pipework clear of anything heat-sensitive.

The G-15 is rated for an 18,000 running-hour maintenance interval, and maintenance kits for the 4 kW and 7.5 kW models are available.
