Match the Uniseal to your DWV pipe’s nominal size, then cut the tank wall with the hole saw listed for that size — a tolerance of ±1 mm is acceptable.

Q: What is the difference between the DWV and Pressure ranges?

They are sized for different pipe diameters — use this DWV range for stormwater and sewer pipe, and the Pressure range for PVC pressure pipe.

Q: Do I need silicone or sealant as well?

No — fitted correctly a Uniseal seals on its own, and adhesives or sealants are neither required nor recommended.

Q: Why is the pipe so hard to push through?

Uniseals are intentionally tight. Chamfer the pipe end or warm it gently, then use a water-soluble food-safe lubricant such as dishwashing liquid.

Q: Can I fit one to a curved or ribbed tank wall?

Yes — that is the main advantage over a rigid bulkhead fitting, which needs a flat surface to seal against.

Q: Will the 150 mm size fit pressure pipe too?

Yes — the 150 mm Uniseal fits both DWV and PVC pressure pipe.
