Q: Which size do I need?

Match the valve to your filter’s connection size and working pressure — the 2″ model is rated to 3.5 bar and the 3″ model to 5 bar.

Q: What triggers a backwash?

Both models release the backwash on time via switch positions, and both include a pressure switch so a blinding filter triggers a cycle.

Q: Is the thread BSP or NPT?

Both are BSP — R 2″ BSP thread ends on the 2″ model and 3″ BSP on the 3″ model.

Q: Can the controller be installed outdoors?

Yes — it is IP65 rated and UV resistant, and runs on 100–240 VAC.

Q: Will it fit my existing filter?
