Every model is reverse-cycle — heating and chilling from the one unit.

Q: Is the chilling capacity the same as the heating capacity?

No. Chilling output is lower on the same unit — an iX9 gives 9.4 kW heating and 3.2 kW chilling — so a chill-led system needs a larger model.

Q: What conditions are the capacities rated at?

iX heating at 27 °C air / 26 °C water and iX cooling at 35 °C air / 29 °C water; the C-Series is rated at 19 °C air / 26 °C water for both heating and cooling.

Q: Can they run on salt water?

Yes — the titanium heat exchanger and gold-fin coated coils suit fresh, brackish and seawater systems.

Q: Will they work on cold mornings?

Yes — automatic reverse-cycle defrost keeps them running in ambient temperatures below 0 °C.
