Q: What cooling capacity in kW does each model give?

Teco publish a rated tank volume rather than a kW capacity at a stated air and water temperature, so use the volume rating and ask us if you need a duty calculation.

Q: How accurate is the temperature control?

The digital thermostat holds the set point within 1 °C, adjustable from 0 to 35 °C and displayed in °C or °F.

Q: Do they need hard plumbing?

No — they install in-line using 90° inlet and outlet valves.

Q: Can they heat as well as chill?

Not on their own, but optional heater kits are available — a 300 W heater for the TK500 to TK2000, and a 400 W heater for suitable models.

Q: Will they work in a hot room?

Yes — the range is rated for ambient temperatures of 38 to 43 °C.

The air filter is removable for quick cleaning, and the unit raises a filter-cleaning alarm when it is due.
