400 J/m², which is 40 mJ/cm², at a design water UVT of 0.98 — 98% UVT. Both figures are printed on MAT’s selection table, and both matter: change either one and the treatable flow changes with it.

Then the reactor treats less flow than the table shows. 98% is a very clean-water basis, so measure your actual UVT and we will re-size against it rather than letting you buy short.

It is a general disinfection basis — fine for routine bacterial control, but resistant protozoan and parasite stages need considerably more, and intake-water biosecurity is normally specified several times higher, so tell us the organism.

MAT offer both. Medium-pressure lamps emit across multiple frequencies, which is what lets them destroy more than half the chloramines present by photochemical reaction; low pressure is the more energy-efficient choice where that is not needed.

HDPE resists osmosis and does not corrode, which suits marine RAS and hatchery duty where a stainless vessel would need to be a more expensive grade.

After biological and mechanical filtration — UV is a supportive step, and particles in the water shelter organisms and absorb UV, so the dose is wasted upstream of filtration.
