At 220W and 440W it depends on the unit generation: current units take the L1290 (220W) or L1300 WT20 (440W), and earlier units take the shorter L1250 series. Measure the sleeve you are replacing or send us the UV ID from the control cabinet.

It depends on your water: inspect after three months and set the interval from there. Clean intake water may only need attention twice a year, while bore water carrying iron can need monthly cleaning.

Use the sponge supplied with the unit for general film and a citric acid solution with a soft cloth for mineral scale. Avoid scouring pads, steel wool and scrapers, and wear gloves, as skin oil bakes onto quartz under UV.

When fouling no longer responds to cleaning, when scratching becomes visible, or immediately if it is chipped or cracked — a crack will eventually flood the lamp chamber. As a working limit, replace inside 24,000 hours.

Yes — fit new O-rings whenever a sleeve is removed. They perish with age and UV exposure whether or not the system is running, and keeping a spare set on the shelf avoids holding up a sleeve change.
