Product Overview
The Oxygen Cone 2 is an advanced dissolved oxygen saturation reactor designed for aquaculture, aquaponics, recirculating systems and high-density fish farming. Engineered for up to 100% oxygen transfer efficiency, this unit ensures superior gas dissolution compared to traditional aeration methods.
Key Features
-
✔ High dissolved oxygen efficiency – Up to ~100% gas transfer.
-
✔ Multiple models / flow capacities (from ~7,500 LPH up to ~136,200 LPH).
-
✔ Robust fibreglass construction rated for pressures up to 20 psi.
-
✔ Includes sight glass, pressure gauge, bleed valve and drain port.
-
✔ Improves water quality, fish health and production capacity.
How an Oxygen Cone Works
An oxygen cone operates as a hydraulic gas–liquid reactor — water flows downward while oxygen gas is injected from above. The widening cone shape reduces velocity, increasing contact time and enabling maximum dissolution of oxygen into the water without surface bubbles.
This efficient design is widely used in commercial aquaculture to raise dissolved oxygen levels, support fish health and optimise production.
Applications
-
Intensive aquaculture and fish grow-out systems
-
Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS)
-
Aquaponics and hatcheries
-
Emergency oxygenation support
-
Water quality maximisation in tanks and ponds
