NSW Department of Primary Industries – Gaden Trout Hatchery

We are thrilled to be working with the NSW Department of Primary Industries and Patterson Building Group to install brand new recirculating aquaculture systems at the Gaden Trout Hatchery near Jindabyne, NSW. These systems will be used for breeding and rearing of trout species for stocking into local alpine river systems to support the local recreational fishing industry in the area.

Sydney Fish Markets – Live Seafood Holding Systems

We are proud to announce that we have been awarded the Live Seafood Life Support System design and construct contract for the Sydney Fish Market Redevelopment project.
These Live Seafood holding systems will provide Wet Storage for a variety of seafood species including Rock Lobster, Abalone, Coral Trout, Spanner Crabs, Blue Swimmer Crabs, Pipis and others.

It is our great pleasure to announce that we will be working closely with CH4 Global to bring into light their first EcoPark, an integrated facility in New Zealand for sustainable aquaculture.

Petuna – Salmonid Feed Trial Facility

This facility is an exciting collaboration between Petuna Aquaculture, BioMar, and Skretting that will be used to trial salmonid diets using the same water, fish, and staff that Petuna use in their commercial runs enabling real world testing.

NSW DPI – Research Rack Systems

These Research Rack Systems were installed at the NSW DPI Fisheries Research site in Narrandera. Research may include, cold water pollution, temperature tolerances, otolith daily ageing, genetics, spawning cues and breeding, and threatened species advancement.

Fresh By Design is proud to announce the completion of the one of the world’s largest, purpose built, Chinook Salmon research facilities for Cawthron Institute’s new Finfish Research Centre (FRC) in Nelson, New Zealand.
