Point Four™ Microbubble Oxygen Diffuser – Ultra Fine Bubble Technology for Efficient Gas Absorption
The Point Four™ Microbubble Oxygen Diffuser, engineered for aquaculture applications, generates a cloud of exceptionally fine bubbles (100–500 microns), significantly finer than graphite or carborundum diffusers. Utilising a flat, ultra-fine pore ceramic plate, this diffuser produces uniform bubbles across its surface, minimising coalescence and maximising gas absorption efficiency, with an absorption rate of over 80%, depending on depth and flow rate. With a recommended bubbling pressure of 25-35 psi (1.7-2.4 bar), this diffuser offers consistent performance.
Ideal for applications requiring high-efficiency oxygen or CO₂ dissolution, Point Four™ diffusers feature robust construction with a durable ceramic plate set in a sturdy aluminium base and solid brass fittings (MBD series). Select models also include a weighted plastic base for versatility in various setups.
