The Sprintex G15 is a high-speed turbo blower for aquaculture aeration, offered as an alternative to side channel blowers and regenerative air pumps. A single high-speed impeller and an integrated variable frequency drive deliver oil-free air at up to 780 m³/h, and a touchscreen HMI sets flow and pressure without external control gear. Sprintex rate the G15 at up to 50% lower power draw than a comparable side channel blower on continuous duty. Four models cover 40 kPa and 50 kPa duties across 4 kW and 7.5 kW frames; the larger G25 series is available on request. All models, specifications and prices shown on this page are for three phase units. Single phase blowers are available on request — contact us and we will confirm specification, price and lead time.

Outdoor Enclosure
The G15 outdoor enclosure is a cabinet that houses the blower, so the unit can be installed outdoors or in a plant room where the incoming air is not clean. Air is drawn in through screened inlets on the cabinet, and the blower’s pre-filter and filter then draw from that protected volume.
- Two inlet screen options: standard mesh, or woven stainless steel mesh for saline and coastal sites
- Stainless steel mesh screens are removable — rinse with warm water monthly where the air carries salt
- A filter extension kit is available to move the intake away from hot, dusty or salty air
- The blower can be ordered pre-installed in the enclosure and delivered as one assembly
The G15 impeller runs at high speed, and salt crystallisation on the impeller causes imbalance and early failure. The stainless steel mesh enclosure is the option recommended for aquaria, marine hatcheries and any site drawing salt-laden air.
Warranty and Maintenance
The G15 carries a 12 month warranty. Cover is conditional on filter maintenance: proof of filter exchange must be sent to Sprintex or Fresh By Design at three month intervals. Salt crystallisation on the impeller will void the warranty, which is why an enclosure is recommended on saline sites.
Blowers now ship with glass fibre inlet filters in place of the earlier paper element. Replacement glass fibre filters are available separately.
The Maintenance Kit is intended to be ordered with the blower. It holds the filters for two to three years of continuous running (six additional pieces) along with the parts and tools to carry out the service at 18,000 running hours. Each kit is offered on its own, or with an additional year of warranty for two years in total.
- Service interval: 18,000 running hours
- Kit contents: six replacement filters plus service parts and tools
- Filter media: glass fibre
- Warranty condition: proof of filter exchange every three months

Frequently Asked Questions
Which model do I need?
It comes down to your duty point — the air flow you need and the water depth the air has to be pushed to. High Flow models suit shallower tanks and ponds where volume matters; High Pressure models suit deeper water. Send us your tank depths and flow requirement and we will confirm the model, price and lead time.
Do you supply single phase blowers?
Everything listed on this page is three phase. Single phase blowers are available, but they are brought in to order and we do not publish specifications or prices for them — contact us and we will confirm what suits your site, along with price and lead time.
Can it run in a salty or dusty plant room?
Not unprotected. The impeller runs at high speed and salt crystallisation causes imbalance and early failure, which also voids the warranty. For saline or coastal sites the enclosure with woven stainless steel mesh inlets is recommended, and a filter extension kit can move the intake away from hot, dusty or salty air.
How often does it need servicing?
The service interval is 18,000 running hours. Filters are exchanged more often than that, and proof of filter exchange must be sent to Sprintex or Fresh By Design every three months to keep the warranty valid. The Maintenance Kit carries the filters and the parts and tools for the 18,000 hour service.
How does it compare with a side channel blower?
Sprintex rate the G15 at up to 50% lower power draw on continuous duty, and it delivers oil-free air with no lubrication in the air path. A side channel blower remains the simpler option where three phase power is unavailable or the duty is intermittent.
